T0: To Whom It May Concern: Terminix Inc.
FROM: Customer Yvonne Snedden
DATE: September 12, 2024
SUBJECT: Negligence, safety, fraud, and unsatisfactory compensation for negligence during contract services or incompetent services partially rendered, and reimbursement for outside services hired to repair damages to my yard and reimbursement for outside services for another Pest control company for unsatisfactory services rendered for bug/insect services

Introduction

I am a seventy-three year old senior Terminix customer, whose income relies on Retirement benefits, and Terminix Inc., has taken advantage of this elderly/senior customer and my venerability as one. I am notifying Terminix, Inc., in written communication regarding my complaints against your company. Terminix, Inc. which has been negligence in services rendered to me, fraudulent, incomplete services rendered for rodent and bug services and unsatisfactory compensation for service not rendered/partially rendered and no compensation for negligence. You failed to get rid of bugs and rodents outside and inside my home and rodents services also per contract agreement. I did not agree to, “I can’t get rid of all your bugs” or for partial or almost in our contact agreement to rid my home of rodents or bugs. You are a Pest Control Company; your job is to get rid of pest and bugs, not, “I can’t get rid of all your pest/bugs, which your service technician Cory T. said to me. This negligence and deceit attitude and incomplete services has put undue emotional and physical injury and stress on me.

Initial Service call

I am currently a seventy-three year old senior and signed a contract with Antony Ornelas, your Advisor in July of 2023. My initial service requested was for rodents, which he claims now I refused. I did not refuse rodent services, but only your high price, heat treatment ($2,000), which you claim you do not do currently, and your expensive attic insulation ($5,200). However, he states my service for bug spray, included inside home service for mice and bugs, that service including spray inside my home and identifying where rodents enter, setting mouse/glue trap and would have physical assistance with my rodent care. Antony O. Advisor, during his superficial rodent inspection said he found signs of rodents’ activity. He also claimed that after his inspection of my home he found ground termites. I also was told I would receive a rodent box, for my inconvenience but never received it. He now claims I refused rodent treatment, after a visit in March of 23.

Fraud
Per Antony O, your Advisor told me that I would receive your inside home care services, which included the garage to help catch rodent activity in home and my garage. I was fraudulently misled regarding those services. I received inside home services briefly for two months from John “the mouse guy”, as you employee’s called him, came to my house set glue and mouse traps and never came back, after September 2023. John told me they would go check the traps every two weeks but no show, misleading me that I would receive home services? I received no answer or no service, except for Cory T in 10/23 and Antony O, in 3/2024 giving me mouse traps and glue traps, and no physical assistance in placement of traps inside or in my garage even though I called multiple times complaining!
I have made Terminix employees’ aware of these problems through Customers Service multiple times, made my Service Technicians, Cory T aware several times verbally and text, and even stop paying to get your attention in this matter, to no avail. I spoke with several, upper management supervisors, with no outcome. I also requested spraying inside my home at the initial service in July and called for spraying inside my home the following month and made Terminix Service Technician aware, and received no follow-up or services rendered, only given glue traps and mouse with no physical assistance or no services for inside home service for rodent care or bug care after September of 2023. This tactic is nothing but bait and switch? What your representative present verbally and what you sign is not the same.

Negligence/deception

Your team member identified that I had ground termites and would receive termite containers for my yard. Terminix employee Rudy V left 12 holes in my backyard, which I, slipped in one and twisted my ankle and exacerbates my ganglion cyst which is on the top of my right foot. This employee, Rudy V., was supposed to put five termite containers in my yard but put only two because he stated “my dirt was too hard, “to put the rest of the containers. I asked him” Terminix does not provide you with equipment to make holes in this desert terrain,” he said, “NO”. Rudy left, and when I check my yard, I thought he was going to come and fill the holes up he left. No, nobody came from Terminix to fix this at any time. I called with no response so. I waited for my next service in around October 29, 2023, to show Cory T, the Service Technician, the multiple holes that Rudy V, left in my back and side yard. He did apologize but didn’t even fix the damage. He finally told me that they do have equipment to dig holes for the termite containers, but the employees break them and then we do not have them. Cory T, did put in three addition termite container, which took 45 minutes and he requested that I text/pictures to his supervisor and explain what happened regarding this negligence, being deceitful to me, partial work, or incomplete work. I forward a letter of complaint and pictures of the damages Rudy V left in my yard to my service technician’s Cory T, supervisor, who never responded. I later explained to Cory, and later to Jason, I would not accept two months of service credit from Antony O who claimed he was going to request credit for my inconvenience nor this token $30 that your Upper-management Supervisor Jason offer me for my inconvenience. In addition, when speaking to Jason he also admitted “it looks like I was given the wrong service.”

In summary, there is not excuse or rationalization or justification for Terminix, Inc., negligence, undo emotional and physical stress that I have suffered, and your liability for keeping your customers safe on their property especially your senior/elderly and their family. It appears that you are aware of this situation and that you are passive-aggressive attitude toward your customers, especially your elderly/senior safety is to do token remedies about any situation regarding service, negligence, incomplete or partial services and to put it back on the customers, for example, as your Upper-management Jason, told me. “ but you signed the contract,” which has nothing to do with Terminix, Inc., employee negligence and your double talk (fraud) and your token $30 and/or two months credit for my inconvenience. This code word “inconvenience” is nothing but negligence.

I want reimbursement of all my money that I paid you, reimbursement for the money I paid my handyman to fix your responsibility/negligence, and I want monies for your negligence and inaction, and emotional physical injury and stress. In summary, there is no excuse or rationalization or justification for Terminix, Inc., negligence, undo emotional and physical stress that I have suffer, and your liability for keeping your customers safe on their property especially your senior/elderly and their family. It appears that your company is aware of this situation and that you are passive-aggressive attitude about doing anything to remedy this situation. Terminix Inc., company thinks, customers will do nothing because you have instituted managerial tactics of passive-aggressive attitude toward your customers by attempting to intimate your customers by your passive-aggressive tactics by telling them but”you signed, “the contract” and attempting to give them token compensation in hopes they will do nothing!

Thank you for your attention in this matter.
