My “training” if you could call it that, consisted of watching videos, a manager who has never worked in the industry, and to top off, a sales training in Orlando.
That was a crash course in our services, a few role playing scenarios, and training to be a shark.
I was NOT trained in filling out the proper paper work and its procedures. I was rushed through training to sell
Now it’s metrics and numbers
If I don’t hit those metrics or numbers I have to come in early to talk about it and be told it’s not good enough.
Even if I hit the number there is another reason to come in to talk about it.
I live an hour from work on an OK day, so I have to wake up extra early just to come in early to hear something that could be handled over zoom.
My coworkers feel the same. A job that should not be stressful is making me physically ill.
I’m losing sleep and gaining weight.
I actively seek new employment on a daily basis. Do not work for any company affiliated with Terminix
