On 2/14/2024, Terminex inspected 202 Crown Point, Frankfort KY, via request from the Buyer under contract. Terminex found no pest wood destroying species and no damages. Terminex rep proceeded to tell the Buyer and Owner of mouse droppings in the attic. Stated we needed to clean out entire attic (approximately 1500 sf), fungicide/sanitize the entire area, re insulate with pest repellant insulation, and seal garage/other areas at the tune of $8200. Terminex rep stated he was not sure how long the droppings had been in the attic, when the Owner asked ‘how could that be when there is no sight or issue of mice in the house?’ And ‘how do you seal anything from mice when they can sliver in anywhere (size of a flat nickel)?’. On 2/15/24, the Buyers wanted out of the contract due to this so-called infestation. On 2/16/24, the Owner got a 5 star local pest company to provide an inspection. The so-called mouse droppings were in fact, from the roof replacement shingle grid remains! Still no pest wood destroying species in the house anywhere, but the mulch outside around the house showed termites. The Owner has already contracted to treat. BUT, due to Terminex rep attempting to sell a contract, we lost this sell for the house. Again Terminex came to inspect for termites and found nothing! I am now talking to a lawyer.

If you have been wronged by Terminix or another termite company, you don't have to fight alone.
