I was told, after a Terminix inspection, that the crawl space beneath my house needed a moisture control system installed to bring down the amount of moisture in the wood before I would be eligible for their  termite prevention service…the dehumidifier costs $3500 and I fell for it because it did make some common sense…but I’ve only paid $1000 so  far…the service has been really slack…they’ve told me nothing else about the unit as far as safety factors, etc. …I don’t know if it’s really working or  not…does anybody know anything about this moisture control system offered by  Terminix?
