I have a yearly inside “inspection” with terminix. Winter before last two guys came and unilaterally added an “attic inspection,” and then I was told mice were infesting my attic m, and I needed a several thousand dollar remediation which would include new special insulation. I spent several days in grave distress since I am semi-retired and could not afford what they claimed was “absolutely necessary.” I later found an honest local guy who took care of the mice for a couple hundred. Then the next winter I was charged for the year and they claimed to have check the house interior. I never had let anyone in from Terminix. I consider that fraudulent.
