Can you tell the difference between a Formosan and Eastern Subterranean Termite? Knowing the difference might save your home.
Formosan termites are more localized in the southern part of the United States, while Eastern Subterranean termites are found throughout the country. In fact, subterranean termites are found in all the states except Alaska.
The termites also have a difference in their physical appearance. Formosan termites have a longer body and a shorter head with two short pincers.
