I have been under contract with Terminex for 3 years with bait traps installed on the perimeter of my house. Every spring my utility room is full of the swarmers and I call to get treatment.
Last spring a Superviser came out with a spray can, sprayed the holes in my laundry room wall and told me I had nothing more to worry about, but he did tell me that the bait traps were set too far from the house and from each other. It took 6 months of constant harassment to get someone to move the traps closer and install more of them. The infestation remained. This Spring I have called again about needing treatment. There is visible damage to my laundry room exterior wall that I paid a contractor to fix last year after the spray can treatment. Yesterday I waited all day for the technician to come. No show. Then at 5:30 pm I got a text from Terminex saying Raul had been there and saw no damage. There was a long report attached describing he had checked the bait traps and found no sign of termites and he had come to my door but I didn’t answer the door. Untrue. I was waiting for him very close to the door, and I would have seen him checking the traps because my house is large with floor to ceiling windows and river rocks housing the traps surround the house. I would have heard him moving the rocks around. He even snapped a couple pictures of my property for his report from a hidden spot in my driveway, to prove he had been there, but the pictures prove he did nothing because the traps as I said are set in river rocks which I pile on the trap covers in a very specific way to hide the traps yet let someone know where they are. None of my piles had been disturbed. I am irate at the sneaky fraud of this company. And last year this exact same thing happened with a different technician who I assumed was a bad employee. Now I am convinced this is evasive company policy.
I would like to learn what is in the bait traps and sue Terminex for negligence.
