I was burned-out and my sobriety and marriage were in trouble. I told my manager repeatedly to help control the stop count so I can do therapy and sobriety meetings. It never happened and I was told that he couldn’t do anything about it and left it to me to handle. My home life got worse and my job performance fell accordingly until I asked for leave. I told the branch manager that I had to get things packed to go to treatment but my gas card was off. He gave me permission to drive as long as I put gas in out of pocket. I got in an accident and was fired for driving while on leave.
This company knows how to cover there ass while making you work yourself literally to death. They don’t care about your personal life no matter how good you are.
Don’t work for them unless work is all you have.
