I hired Terminix three months ago for a one-time ant treatment.

Last Thursday at 4:00 pm I got a text message telling me the tech was on his way to my house. This was my first and only notice. I’m 40 miles away on a business trip; couldn’t drop everything and race home. I get to the house at 6:00 pm and there’s a card on the door, “we missed you.”

Today I see a charge on my credit card for $108.41 from Terminix. I call them and they have no idea what treatment was applied. I know the tech didn’t get into the house and there was no evidence the dog ate anybody trying to get into the back yard. All they can offer is to schedule another home visit at no charge.

If this is standard business practice, I don’t want Terminix anywhere NEAR my house.
