Thousands of Formosan Termites

The video below shows Formosan termites in a stump twenty feet from a home owned by a retired pastor. The termites in the stump are preparing to swarm, they are winged termites which are reproductives that will fly away to try to establish new colonies. Formosson damage to the home has already occurred though and it will not matter if the home is affected by the swarm.

Because of substandard treatment and late detection the home must be torn down. Terminix is not taking responsibility for what they caused. Instead, the Terminix officials that acknowledged the termite damage told the minister that the problem was his fault. “You must have brought them with you from California,” they said. In addition, the company never acknowledged that termites had eaten away the main support girder.  That damage was not uncovered – along with the active termites in the home, until Campbell Law PC’s Tom Campbell personally climbed through the crawl space in the home.

Campbell scaled a foundation wall so he could demonstrate that the main girder was shredded. The company and state regulators failed to discover or disclose as well that the dirt-filled porch along the entire front of the home was built above the wooden sill and box-sill. The home is located in Mobile, Alabama.

Campbell Law PC is based in Birmingham, Alabama – the heart of the termite belt in the Deep South. The firm handles serious cases nationwide. We will be happy to evaluate your claim at no cost to you.

If you have been wronged by Terminix or another termite company, you don't have to fight alone.
