We were Terminix customers for years. We had a home inspection as we were selling our home. The pest inspector noted termites outside but none inside or any damage.
The inspector noted that Terminix had a Termite Plan and he said that the plan had multiple bait stations placed around the home and its cost was $117 for the first
month and then $34 a month. He lied. He didn’t have a contract with him, but he did have a signing pad and had us sign. We later found out, by asking for a paper copy of the contract, that the $117 cost was required every month for the first year. He never mentioned that fact. He lied by omitting the cost was each month. We’ve tried everything to get out of the contract but Terminix will not let us out of the contract. They have set their customers up by lying and then not having a paper copy of the contract and trapping them into a 12 month contract and refusing cancellation. We had them remove the stations, but they still won’t let us cancel. Terrible, dishonest and sleazy business tactics. Stay away from them.
